If you, as a natural person, entrust personal data to Argenta, you can rest assured that Argenta will treat t the data with the necessary care in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, a new European legislation that is applicable since 25 May 2018.

This statement informs you about the processing of your personal data and the rights that you can exercise. 

As a result of your business relationship with Argenta or your acting as a representative of a company or entity that enters into a business relationship with Argenta, you provide personal data to Argenta Spaarbank nv, hereby referred to as ‘Argenta’.

Argenta hereby acts as data controller.

Argenta processes your personal data in the context of your business relationship as investor (or otherwise) of Argenta or in the context of such a relationship between Argenta and the company or entity you represent, in order to provide (financial) information and other information regarding Argenta and the Argenta Group. For this purpose we process your identification data and contactdetails . The data is obtained directly from you or your company. If you register to receive such information, you consent to the processing of your data for this purpose.

Argenta processes your personal data in accordance with the applicable privacy legislation. 

According to the applicable privacy legislation, personal data may not be kept longer than necessary for the purpose for which it is processed. Argenta respects this obligation by deleting your personal data after the retention period has expired. 

Argenta can make your personal data available to entities that belong to the Argenta group. These entities may process your personal data in the context of their activities in accordance with this Privacy Statement.  

In certain cases, your personal data will be processed by persons or entities outside of Argenta. Argenta will rely on external service providers who, in the context of a service agreement with Argenta, process personal data for and on behalf of Argenta. These are ‘processors’. Argenta can pass on your personal data to these processors or they can process it for us insofar as this is necessary for the execution of their specific task.

Argenta will respond to your request as quickly as possible and in any case within 1 month of receiving the request. If that is not possible, we will inform you as soon as possible.
